Violence against immigrant and refugee women is a serious issue in Ontario, and it deserves attention, action and change!

The project

Neighbours, Friends and Families is a project that recognizes the role that we all play in preventing and addressing violence against immigrant and refugee women.

A recent study by Interval House found that only 58% of Ontarians would intervene if someone told them they were experiencing violence from their partner. There are many warning signs for abuse or violence and it isn’t so difficult to notice these signs. After noticing, what do you want to do? You want to help…
